Following his recent visit to Singapore, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe expressed great interest in an investment in a Japanese casino industry.

During his visit to speak at a regional defense conference, The Marina Bay sands, owned by casino mogul Sheldon Adelson, and Resorts World on Sentosa Island, owned by Genting Singapore were among the resort locations visited by Abe.
Upon his return, the Prime Minister compelled Japanese lawmakers to consider legislation to legalize gambling on a national scale, in an effort to boost the country’s draw to outside tourism and investment.
