Schedules Announced for APPT and Macau Poker Cup

The Season 8 schedule has been announced for the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) as well as the 21st edition of the Macau Poker Cup which will be held at the “PokerStars LIVE at the City of Dreams” poker room.
The APPT will be returning to Macau where twelve Official Asia Player of the Year events will take place in May. A 12-day poker festival will run from May 14-25 and include a $25,000 Main Event over the last four days.
Last year saw the APPT Macau award $17,728,424 to 1,887 players across 11 tournaments and that number is expected to be exceeded in Season 8. Other highlights this year include the $5,000 APPT Warm-up event which has a $1 million guaranteed prize pool, the $15,000 NLH and the $100,000 High Roller events which will take place in the second week.
The Macau Poker Cup will take place from August 1-17. Distributed across the schedule are 14 Official Asia Player of the Year events. The $11,000 Red Dragon main event returns with a $5 million guaranteed prize pool.
Other highlights of the Poker Cup include a $2,000 Deepstack NLH and a $6,000 Baby Dragon which has a $1 million guaranteed prize pool. The Poker Cup will end with an $80,000 High Roller event and a $20,000 NLH event.
