2013 PartyPoker WPT Montreal Main Event Gets Underway

Over the weekend 215 players entered Day 1a of the 2013 PartyPoker World Poker Tour Montreal at the Playground Poker Club. Ten levels were played on the first day of and left just 92 competitors remaining.

This weekend saw the start of the 2013 PartyPoker World Poker Tour Montreal at the Playground Poker Club.
Quite a long way behind in second place is Mohsin Charania, the recent 2013 bwin WPT Grand Prix de Paris champion, with 186,300 chips and in third place is 2013 WPT Canadian Spring Championship winner Amir Babakhani with 185,100.
For those that have been knocked out there is still hope. The Main Event features two Day 1s and players are welcome to buy-in and have another go.
Or, if players are looking for something a bit different there is the chance to take part in the High Roller event that is taking place on Tuesday. The tournament has a $10,000 buy-in so will require fairly deep pockets; however, there are a number of smaller events taking place as well.
