Downtown Grand to Open Next Month in Vegas

The Las Vegas resort formerly known as the Lady Luck will reopen next month as the Downtown Grand.

After years of renovation work and over $200 million investment the Downtown Grand Casino is ready to open its doors.
Schorr said, “We have been working hard on this project for several years.
The support of the entire downtown community has been overwhelming, and we look forward to adding another amazing element to the revitalization of Las Vegas.”
The price of the renovation to the Downtown Grand was about $100 million, it down features 634 rooms, around 600 slot machines and 30 table games. In total the investment made by the property’s owner, CIM Group, is over $200 million due to renovation work on the surrounding neighbourhood.
Schorr went on to say that there will be another phrase of development in about two years which will include 80,000 square feet of retail space adjacent to the Mob Museum and about 20,000 square feet of convention space.
