Atlantic City Casinos Moving Swiftly Towards Online Gambling

Atlantic City casinos are working quickly to ensure they have partners for online gambling operations. Recently the state Gaming Enforcement Division told casinos that they have until June 30th to secure their partners and form internet gambling deals.

With various state deadlines approaching, Atlantic City casinos are busy securing partnership deals with online operators
It is expected that online gambling in New Jersey will launch in November so the deadline was put in place to ensure that regulators have enough time to carefully examine all the online gambling operators that casinos are partnering with. So far four casinos have formed deals with 888 Holdings, the Caesars Atlantic City, Harrah’s Resort Atlantic city, the Showboat Casino Hotel and Bally’s Atlantic City.
The director of the Gaming Enforcement Division, David Rebuck, said that if a casino misses the deadline there is no guarantee that it will be able to start offering online gambling at the same time as other casinos.
The state has also set a deadline of July 29th for casinos to complete their applications and submit them to the Gaming Enforcement Division.
When the market launches, casinos are sure to face tough competition from each other in order to attract the biggest possible customer base and any delays could cost them greatly.
