Would You Bet on a Cold UK Winter Season?

The UK’s Indian summer is coming to an end with forecasters predicting snow as early as next week.

With the weather about to change it’s a good time to get some bets in on this year’s weather

Meteorologists are predicting an arctic snap will hit the UK by Friday next week causing temperatures to drop below zero and bring snow.

With the weather about to change it’s a good time to get some bets in on this year’s weather.

Do you think that this year will be the coldest on record?

Paddy Power doesn’t and they’re offering odds of 10/1. How about the wettest on record (4/1), driest on record (6/1) or hottest on record (11/2)?

Next week is meant to begin with temperatures as high as 21C, however, this won’t last long as the first snow of winter is due on Friday. According to the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, this year is Britain’s ‘strangest-ever’ for weather, there was the worst drought since 1976 followed by the wettest summer for a century!

Now forecasters are predicting the taste of three seasons in one week. There should be an autumnal weekend, followed by a few days of summer and then a wintery weekend to end the week.

With such erratic predictions, it may well be worth putting a few quid on the weather betting markets!
