The Online Casino World We Live In
What world do you want to live in: our world, with online casino gambling, or a world without online casino gambling? The fact of the matter is that both worlds already exist. There are those in the modern world, the so-called “rich” or First World, which have access to online casinos and play games at them on a regular basis. And then there is the Third World, often agrarian and with little electricity, whose residents couldn’t care less about online casino gambling, it’s effects on the worldwide economy, or the newest online casino to go public on the London Stock Exchange.
Still, it is worth remembering that we live in an increasingly interconnected world, and that while it may not be that what occurs in the First World affects much the daily lives of those in the Third World, what happens in the Third World often affects what happens in the First World and the ability of online gamblers to visit their favorite online casino sites and wager money. This is because many world conflicts which start in the Third World – much of which is educated and knows much about the so-called “rich” world – evolve to engulf the lives of those living in the First World all over the planet.
And so, the point is that you should be a little bit humbled after reading this. As much as online casino companies like to act as if the world is their oyster, there is only a part of it that is: much of it can affect online casino gambling in ways the online casino industry could only dream of affecting the Third World. There is more than just the affluent world, which is more than just “the West”, and online gamblers ignore the goings on outside of their little bubbles they often create for themselves to their own financial peril: online casinos are far from immune from the problems of hackers as well as bird flu.
