Online Casino Industry in the U.S.
Is there a chance in the near future that online casino gambling will be fully legalized in the U.S.? Highly doubtful, but you can never say never when it comes to online casino companies and futures, because every time people have tried to put limits on their mobility, they literally go mobile – as in mobile online casino games in Europe and elsewhere. Only a few states in the Union have specific laws banning online casino gambling. As for the rest of the country, federal laws are non-existent when it comes to specifically banning online casino gambling, though the Justice Dept. does interpret laws that are over 40 years old as applicable against online casinos.
Still, the federal government has yet to act, really, in taking down online casino gamblers or websites. Since online casino servers are currently not permitted to be based on U.S. soil, going after and shutting down online casino servers is difficult not only from the standpoint of practicality but international legitimacy. Whether or not you are living in the U.S. and in a state that has banned online casino gambling really doesn’t matter. What does matter is that if you are legally technically able to gamble online, there is nothing to stop you but you.
And overcoming personal opposition to gambling on the internet is something that can only be done by you. It can’t be done by reading this article. Nor can it be done simply by osmosis. If you want to play online casino games, you have to overcome your own doubts and insecurities and take the risk that comes with playing any games, not just gambling games and not just games online. You can do it, if you really want to. And you know what? You can do it, even if you don’t really want to.
