Genting UK has signed a new agreement with Playtech which will see the casino group make use of Playtech’s Neon casino management system. The system will be introduced to Genting casinos throughout this year and will also be used at the super-casino Resorts World Birmingham when it opens at the start of next year. The system makes it easy for the casino to manage all client information, table gaming, loyalty programmes and cash desk operations through a combination of iOS and HTML5 applications.
Chris Dempsey, the Director of Consulting for Intelligent Gaming, the Playtech subsidiary that developed the system, said in a press release, “Neon will provide a unique solution, connecting Genting UK’s operations to a central system with a range of HTML5 and iOS applications. Neon is the most flexible casino management system available and we are carrying out significant customization to support and reinforce Genting’s processes.”
The director of Genting UK IT, Chris Ashworth, said that the new system will enable Genting to “centralize our systems and streamline many customer-facing business processes to improve our customer service and drive our business forward. The system will be fully centralized in a high-availability data center and will integrate with our other key business applications via TIBCO.”
