Aristocrat Leisure has announced that it believes that mobile gambling is the key for the future. As a result the company is looking for ways to develop new games and port its existing games onto mobile platforms.
The Chief Executive of Aristocrat, Jamie Odell, has said, “Intuitively, that’s where my heart says we should be moving to: to the future.”
Recently Aristocrat launched its online casino game site, nLive, in North America in preparation of online gaming becoming legalised in more states.
At present online gambling is illegal in the majority of the states, but Odell believes that people enjoy playing gambling games, such as slots, for fake money as they view it as pure entertainment. This is why he believes social gambling games are so popular.
However, Odell doesn’t think that mobile gambling will result in the downfall of casinos. He believes that due to their bars, dance clubs and restaurants, they are viewed as social venues.
Gamblers are able to enjoy the latest in gaming technology at casinos, giant machines with multiple screens, graphics, lighting and interactive seats creating a much more immersive experience.
