iPoker Network Launches HTML5 Client

iPoker has launched its new HTML5 mobile client and begun rolling out the new technology with bet365 Poker and Winner Poker becoming the first two operators to offer their customers the new browser-based client.

The iPoker Network has launched a mobile client built on HTML5 to ensure cross platform compatibility.
Winner Poker began promoting the client a few weeks ago and allowed customers to access it through its mobile site. As the client is HTML5 based it works on all platforms including iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android devices and desktop browsers.
Bet365’s version of the new client allows players to enjoy standard cash games and iPoker’s fast-fold variant of Speed Poker through their mobile devices. Neither Bet365 nor Winner currently support tournaments, however, Winner is planning to introduce it in the near future.
The iPoker Network is use3d by some of the largest poker rooms available on the internet. As well as bet365 and Winner, operators such as William Hill, Paddy Power and Titan Poker all make use of it.
However, prior to this release it had come under fire for not launching a mobile product. Now that it has it is also reported to be planning to build native iOS and Android clients in the near future.
