EA Announces Heroes of Dragon Age for Android and iOS
EA and BioWare have announced that they are developing Heroes of Dragon Age which will be released later this year for Android and iOS.
The game will be free to download and allow players to purchase and collect 3D figures of key characters from the Dragon Age universe, place them in squads and then battle human and AI controlled enemies.
The Executive Producer of the game, Jeferson Valadares, said, “We all like CCGs, RPGs, and squad-based tactics games, but they can be a little niche. The idea for Heroes of Dragon Age was to take those ideas and make them more strategic. We set out to make an accessible strategy RPG that takes full advantage of the Dragon Age universe’s cool characters and locations.”
Each quest in the game is self-contained and allows player to re-experience key moments from previous Dragon Age games as well as the novel s and encyclopaedia entries.
When it launches the game will include over 100 unique characters, each with four potential evolutions or variations. This number will increase over time as characters from the upcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition are added.
