Playtech Upgrades iPoker Network

Last month Playtech, which operates the iPoker network, announced that it would shortly be releasing a major new upgrade for the network which would include a new mobile client and a multi-tiered VIP program for real-money players.

Playtech has released details of its upgrades to the iPoker network which include a new VIP program and mobile client
The mobile client will be released for both iOS and HTML5 devices. There are select poker rooms from both the iPoker and iPoker France networks which will be the first to support the new mobile apps.
The new multi-tiered VIP program is highly customisable and supports up to 54 separate tiers.
This gives poker rooms in the iPoker network the ability to customise the VIP programs to suit their needs and make it distinct from those offered elsewhere.
It will allow poker rooms to run yearlong VIP programs and compete with PokerStars high-volume Supernova Elite program. The new program also allows players to see a progress bar similar to that shown in the Pokerstars client.
There are also new tournament formats in the upgrade for both SNG and regular tournaments. SNG heads-up matches will have a rematch button which will automatically load a new tournament once the current one ends.
