Microgaming Releases New Slots Game as Purple Lounge Leaves

The popular online poker operator Purple Lounge has announced that it is leaving the Microgaming network and joining the Swedish network Entraction.

The poker operator Purple Lounge is leaving Microgaming, but for all remaining Microgaming casinos there is an exciting new slots game

The Entraction network is known for operating the hugely popular European Masters of Poker tour throughout the continent. Purple Lounge released a statement saying that the move is due to changes in the online poker industry and therefore it is necessary for them to change network. However, whilst the move will allow them to accept begin accepting Dutch players; they will no longer be able to accept players form Russia, Estonia or Canada.

Nonetheless, for all the players staying with a Microgaming casino there is good news. They have just released a brand new slots game called The Grand Journey. The game will take you back to the prehistoric ages featuring symbols such as the explorer, the female, the T-Rex, the saber tooth tiger, the volcano, the temple, the forest and the gear. All the symbols are fantastically animated which really brings the game to life.

The game features a standard wild symbol (The Grand Journey logo) which will double payouts when it appears in winning combinations. Even better, there is a second wild (the time machine); if it appears on the third reel then it will turn the entire reel wild!

The game also features a scatter symbol and a free spins round. The free spins round has the unique multiplier trail. Each non-winning spin will increase the payout by one multiplier until a win is awarded. The maximum value of the multiplier is ten times which allows players to win up to 6 million coins.

The main game’s maximum payout is 400 credits, whilst this means that the game is a low roller slot game, it is still great fun to play. Microgaming fans need not worry about Purple Lounge’s departure, once again Microgaming have proved that they are still are market leader producing top quality games.
