Seven New Online Casino Firms Join eCOGRA Technology
The online casino industry’s premier watchdog and technology regulation body eCOGRA has recently welcomed a further seven online casino firms to its ranks. The organization’s “Play it Safe” seal is widely recognized in the online casino industry for distinguishing between those online casinos that offer players a reputable and secure gaming technology, and those that don’t.
Now eCOGRA’s trademark technology seal of approval can be found at seven new online casino and poker sites, bringing the total number of gaming firms that adhere to the body’s standards to 76. In order to earn the “Play it Safe” seal, each online casino site has proved that it places the highest priority on player safety and pays players their winnings promptly. In addition, the site must be financially stable and operate according to eCOGRA’s standards of security and fair play. Even after an online casino site is awarded with the organization’s “Play it Safe” seal, it continues to undergo regular testing and monitoring to ensure that it meets eCOGRA guidelines at all times.
The seven new sites that have joined eCOGRA technology focus on offering casino players variations on online casino poker. Their initiation to the eCOGRA network follows the announcement that the watchdog is aiming to award further “Play it Safe” seals this year in order to bring its total number of online casino sites up to 100. To date, both gaming firms and software providers have expressed interest in joining eCOGRA.
