Playtech Online Casino Technology Provider Joins RGA
Playtech online casino technology has become the latest member of the British Remote Gambling Association. In order to qualify, online casino technology providers must provide services to the EEA or the Islands. The Remote Gambling Association has acquired a new member. Playtech, the top-notch turnkey online casinos and poker room software provider, has joined the ranks and secured membership with the RGA. The online casino software provider’s membership comes soon after it received a Certificate of Prior Approval from Alderney, the third largest Channel Island, and its migration of the Rank Group’s Hard Rock Casino, licensed in Alderney. Joining the RGA is considered a step up for most online casino technology companies.
In order to qualify to join the Remote Gambling Association, online casino software providers must be licensed directly or supply their online casino technology to a minimum of one remote gambling operator which is licensed or operates from the European Economic Area, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands. The RGA, founded in 2005, is the joint forces of the previous Association of Remote Gambling Operators (ARGO) and the Interactive Gaming, Gambling and Betting Association (IGGBA). The organization works for the benefit and service of remote online casino gambling operators in the areas where their members have a vested interest.
Online casino technology provider, Playtech, said that they were thrilled to be joining the RGA. The spokesperson said that the work that RGA does in the online casino and gambling industry is essential to ensure that the interests of all parties are maintained.
