Excapsa Searching for Online Casino Technology Provider
Following a successful public flotation on Britain’s AIM, online casino poker network company wants to purchase an online casino technology developer. Excapsa, which is a Toronto based and London listed, runs a very successful online casino poker network. The company has just floated on the junior AIM market in London and following the success, feels confident enough to want to buy an online casino technology developer. The company joined the latest in a number of flotations in the online casino industry, which included Party Gaming, 888 and Empire Online.
Chief Executive of the group, Jim Ryan, said that the essence of going public was that he wanted to execute the purchasing of an online casino technology developer. Now the problem is finding one. The flotation of the company showed the online casino industry that they were serious players in the market who were not in the business for a quick buck, Ryan added. He further added that the company was now purely poker based but would be looking to add the online casino technology game element into its portfolio very soon.
Ryan also revealed that his company would be launching wireless poker technology over mobile phones shortly, the latest spin-off of the online casino industry. Another idea which Ryan revealed was that they would provide blackjack games for players to play while waiting for their turns at poker tables on online casino sites. The plan was to cross sell the company’s products and to supplement the gaming network with new products by the end of 2006.
