Online Casino Fan Wins at Poker Technology
Yohan Mullemeester, a self-confessed online casino technology fan, is this year’s winner of the French Poker Tour. The new champion has credited his win to practice, hard work and the willingness to learn every aspect of online casino poker technology. The online casino fan beat off 117 other players from all over France to win the coveted title which was presented to him by the competition’s host, L’Association France Poker.
The French Poker Tour began on January 14 at the Aviation Club de France. The players, competing for a total prize pool of 20,000 euros, drew record crowds and a high level of interest from media and online casino technology groups. In the final rounds, Mullemeester faced fellow online casino fans Loic Dubois and Arnaud Grumiaux, who placed third and second respectively. As the winner, the online casino fan collected over 7,500 euros and the title of French Poker Tour Champion which was awarded to him by Everest Poker’s Marketing Manager, Sandrine Dubois.
Online casino technology is currently at its peak in France, with many new casino players keen to play at online casino firms marketing an exclusively European atmosphere. In France alone, poker is following trends previously seen in the U.S. and the UK, and industry analysts predict the country will play host to many more online casino tournaments in due course.
