Hamilton and Rosberg Prepare for Italian Battle
This weekend the Formula 1 title battle between Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg is set to continue at the Italian Grand Prix in Monza.
At the Belgian Grand Prix Rosberg purposely collided with Hamilton and effectively ended his race. While both drivers claimed to have moved on, there is every chance that tempers could flare up once again. Prior to the Belgian Grand Prix Rosberg led by 11 points, after Hamilton failed to complete the race Rosberg’s lead was extended to 29 points.
The track at Monza is one of the fastest in the F1 circuit and it should make for a thrilling race. Hamilton won the race in 2012 and is eager to pull off a repeat performance, earlier this week he said that his aim is to “claw back the gap” in the Drivers’ Championship and said he won’t give up until “the flag drops in Abu Dhabi”.
All eyes will be on Rosberg and there is every chance that he will be driving more cautiously having been punished for his display in Belgium. However, Hamilton has a huge amount of work to do in order to win the Championship.
