Bet365 to Sponsor Hennessy Heritage Festival

The bookmakers Bet365 are the new headline sponsors of the Hennessy Heritage Festival. The company has signed a long term agreement to join cognac producers Hennessy as the official sponsors of the three-day Newbury race meeting.

Bookmakers Bet365 will be sponsoring a number of events at the upcoming three-day race meeting.

Bet365 will be sponsoring 13 of the event’s 21 races from Thursday 28th – Sunday 30th November including the Grade Two Bet365 Long Distance Hurdle.

Hennessy has also extended its sponsorship of the meeting’s Gold Cup handicap by a further three years. It is already British racing’s longest commercial sponsorship with this year its 57th.

The join chief executive at Bet365, Denise Coates, said, “The Hennessy Gold Cup is one of the most prestigious races run in the National Hunt calendar and is always a favourite with racing fans.

We’re delighted to be supporting the Heritage Festival and we look forward to working with The Racecourse Newbury and Hennessy.”

Stephen Higgins, joint managing director of The Racecourse Newbury, added: “Bet365 are a worldwide brand, well-known for their support of British racing and it’s fantastic to have another high-profile sponsor join us on Hennessy Gold Cup Day.”
