Cavaliers Have the Odds to Win NBA Opener

The opening night of the new NBA season will see the Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Washington Wizards.

Over the last 7 meetings the Wizards are 5-2 ATS. However, the bookies have the Cavaliers as clear favourites to win with odds of 7/8 compared to the Wizards 39/19.

Since Lebron left the Cavaliers, Cleveland fans will have found many of their matches painful to watch. However, Kyrie Irving does seem to offer some hope.

While he is only 19 years old, Irving played extremely well last season and should keep getting better over the coming season.

While the Cavaliers are still likely to struggle this season, they are still in a better position than they have been for a couple of years.

The Wizards have suffered a few years now of disappointments. The last couple of seasons have seen the team drop from being a regular playoff team to one of the worst teams around.

This season the likes of Nene, Trevor Ariza, Emeka Okafor and Bradley Beal will be working hard to try and make the Wizards a respectable team once again.

However, many people do think that the Wizards can put up a good fight in this opening match and get their season off to a respectable start.
