Bookies Favourites to Join Man U in January Transfer Window

With the January transfer window just about to open bookies are taking bets on the most likely signings and Manchester United have been linked with a number of players.

The most likely signing for United is Tottenham’s Danny Rose. United have been linked with the player since Mourinho took charge last year and a number of bookies have him at 10/11 to move. There have been numerous reports that United are confident of signing Rose and Spurs are looking to get at least £50 million for him.

Another possibly is Jonny Evans who United sold to West Bromwich in 2015 for just £6 million. He has been linked with a move away from the Baggies since the summer. There were reports that Manchester City and Leicester have both had bids turned down for the player and bookies think that there is an 8/1 chance of United succeeding in bringing him back. If a deal is reached it is thought that United could pay as much as £30 million.

Throughout the summer there were reports linking Antoine Greizmann to Manchester United. In the end the player decided to remain at Atletico Madrid but this doesn’t mean that Mourinho won’t be trying again. While bookies are offering odds of 1/20 for him to remain with Atletico, there are odds of 12/1 that he will move to United providing the team are prepared to pay the £89 million release clause in his Atletico contract.

There are numerous players that Manchester United could sign next month and with Mourinho known to be interested to reinforce his squad, any one of these players could make the move.
