Betting Suspended on Jose Mourinho Leaving Chelsea
This weekend Chelsea suffered its sixth defeat of the season despite taking an early lead against Liverpool on Saturday afternoon and the team is stuck at fifteenth in the table.
Since then Ladbrokes has suspended betting on Jose Mourinho leaving Chelsea as the bookmaker says it is waiting for further news. However, betting is still very much active on who the next Chelsea manager will be and there are plenty of favourites.
Carlo Ancelotti has the shortest odds of 7/2 followed a long way behind by Pep Guardiola at 7/1. However, there are rumours that Roman Abramovich’s favourites are Diego Simeone, who has odds of 10/1, and Pep Guardiola. If these rumours gain traction then the odds are likely to change over the coming days. In the meantime some other bookmakers are still taking bets on Mourinho being the next manager to leave and his odds have dropped to 1/3.
