The Top Four Midfielders of the 2014/15 Football Season

With the new season just a few weeks away it is time to look at who impressed last year and who to watch out for over the coming year.

Almost undoubtedly Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo was one of the most impressive midfielders last season. He was previously voted the best FIFA player of the year and as one of the most versatile players around it wouldn’t be surprising if he received this accolade again.

Juventus’ Andre Pirlo was also extremely impressive. He’s well known for his dribbling skills, his passing ability and his ability in front of goal.

Bayern Munich’s Arjen Robben also deserves a mention. He is often nominated for FIFA awards and is certainly in the top few midfielders currently playing.

Rounding up the top four would be Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos. He was excellent for the German team in the FIFA World Cup and has continued to impressive at Real Madrid over the last season.
