The Top Three Premier League Goalkeepers of 2014/15

Goalkeepers are sometimes overlooked but when it comes down to it they are the last line of defence. Here are the three most impressive keepers of last season.

In third place is Tottenham Hotspur’s Huge Lloris. He regularly uses his speed to deal with any balls in and around the box. He makes an average of 2.65 saves per game and as a further sign of his importance he has also been given the captain’s armband on a number of occasions.

Manchester United’s David de Gea proved himself invaluable in the second half of last season. He looked increasingly confident as the season went on and he made some truly impressive saves.

However, it is Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois that was probably the most impressive keeper last year. At just 22 years old he is sure to continue to develop and it wouldn’t be surprising if he retains this top spot for years to come.
