Fans Turn to Euro 2016 Outright Betting Ahead of Qualifiers

The next round of Euro 2016 qualification matches is taking place over the next few days and of course punters across the world are backing their national teams for victory. However, many are already looking ahead and betting on the competition’s final outcome while the odds are still favourable.
Unsurprisingly Germany is clear favourite to win the competition with odds of 10/3 at the vast majority of bookmakers. It’s unlikely to change much even after their qualification is confirmed; however, it could get a bit longer if the team suffers any more slip ups.
At the other end of the spectrum is the Czech Republic which is at 50/1 or 66/1 at most bookmakers. The team has surprised in qualifying with four wins under their belts and they look set to progress to the next round. However, their ability to win the competition is still doubtful.
France and Spain are second and third favourites to win respectively. As host nation France doesn’t have to qualify but there are doubts over whether they can put together a unified team. Spain is the current holder of the trophy and at 13/2 there is a chance that they can retain it. However, they will have to put last summer’s World Cup firmly behind them.
Somewhat surprisingly England is next favourite at 11/2, ahead of Belgium at 12/1 and Holland at 14/1. While the team has been doing well in qualifiers, conceding just one goal, it remains to be seen whether the team is simply giving fans false hope or if they really have turned things around since the World Cup.
