Tony McCoy Seeks Final Victory at Cheltenham Cup This Friday

The Cheltenham Festival, one of the biggest events in the horse racing calendar, is finally upon us. Over the course of the next few days some of the world’s best horses and jockeys will compete in the lead up to the all-important Gold Cup on Friday.
This year is the final Cheltenham Festival that Tony McCoy, one of the greatest riders of all time, will take part in and he has already publicly stated that despite having won more than 4000 races he still wants to win the Cheltenham Gold Cup one more time.
McCoy is due to ride Carlingford Lough in the race on Friday and he says that he is thoroughly happy with the horse. However, unfortunately for McCoy he may not get the end to his career that he dreams of as at nearly all the bookies Carlingford Lough is just fifth favourite to win at 10/1. Nonetheless, bookies are predicting that over £40 million will be bet on McCoy alone over the coming days.
