Euro 2016 Odds and Predictions: Scotland vs Georgia

Saturday evening will see Scotland play Georgia in their next Euro 2016 qualifying match at the Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow.

The teams have played twice before, both times in 2007. The first game was won 2 – 1 by Scotland while the second Georgia won 2 – 0.

Most recently Scotland was beaten 2 – 1 by Germany. Earlier this year they drew 2 – 2 with Nigeria and beat Poland 1 – 0. Last year they beat Norway 1 – 0 and drew 0 – 0 with the USA.

Georgia has lost its last two games, most recently 2 – 1 to Ireland and before that 1 – 0 to the United Arab Emirates.

However, in May the team beat Saudi Arabia 2 – 0 and before that Liechtenstein 2 – 0.

Scotland is the bookies’ favourite to win with odds of around 4/5. The odds on Georgia winning are around 4/1 while a draw has been set at around 5/2.
