This Friday evening Turkey will play the Czech Republic in their next Euro 2016 qualifying match at the ?ükrü Saraco?lu Stadium.
The teams have played each other five times since 2003. Most recently, in February 2013, the Czech Republic won 2 – 0. In May 2010 Turkey won 2 -1 and in June 2008 Turkey won 3 – 2. In total both teams have won 2 games and they drew the fifth.

Last month Turkey lost 3 – 0 to Iceland but beat Denmark 2- 1. Earlier in the year they lost 2 – 1 to the USA, beat Honduras 2 – 0 and Ireland 2 – 1.

The Czech Republic beat the Netherlands 2 – 1 last month but lost 1 – 0 to the USA. In June they lost 2 – 1 to Austria and they drew 2 – 2 with Finland in May.

Turkey is the bookies’ favourite to win with odds of around 11/10. A drew has been set at 21/10 while a victory for the Czech Republic is at 5/2.
