Euro 2016 Odds and Predictions: Malta vs Norway

On Friday evening Malta and Norway will play each other in their next Euro 2016 qualifying match at the Ta’Qali National Stadium.

The teams have played each other five times since 1994, most recently in 2007 when Norway won 4 – 1. Norway also won on the four other occasions, again in 2007 and 2005, 1995 and 1994.

Last month Malta lost 2 – 0 to Croatia and 1 – 0 to Slovakia.

Earlier this year they lost 1 – 0 to Gibraltar and 2 – 0 to Albania. Their last victory was 3 – 2 over the Faroe Islands in November last year.

Norway lost 2 – 0 to Italy and 1 – 0 to England last month. In August they drew 0 – 0 with the United Arab Emirates and in May they drew 1 – 1 with Russia.

Norway is the bookies’ favourite to win with odds of 4/11 at the majority of bookmakers. A draw has been set at around 18/5 and a Maltese victory has been set at 8/1.

William Hill Odds: 4/11 Norway to Win, 18/5 for a Draw and 8/1 Malta to Win.

Ladbrokes Odds: 7/20 Norway to Win, 16/5 for a Draw and 8/1 Malta to Win.

Bet365 odds: 2/5 Norway to Win, 4/1 for a Draw and 8/1 Malta to Win.
