Man Utd Falls From Favour Following QPR Demolition
Manchester United fans are celebrating as the team finally got its act together and put on a fantastic display to defeat Queen Park Rangers 4 – 0.
The team looked to have come to life on the field; they were fast, sharp and played very clever football. Angel di Maria scored the opening goal before Ander Herrera scored the next. Wayne Rooney knocked in the third and the fourth came from Juan Mata.
After the game coach Louis Van Gaal described it as a “new start” for the team and started talking about a return to the league championship.
While that may be difficult to achieve this season, the team’s odds have begun to improve at a number of major bookies. They are now third favourite to win the league with odds of 8/1 at the majority of bookies. While this is a long way off favourite Chelsea’s odds of 8/11 it is a move in the right direction.
Manchester United’s next game is against Leicester on 21st September, every bookie has them as favourite to win with odds as low as 4/7. The best odds on Leicester are 4/1.
