Crystal Palace Hopes Disrupted by Manager Fiasco

It has not been a good start to the season for Crystal Palace after manager Tony Pulis quit less than 2 days before the opening game.

Crystal Palace has had a terrible start to the new season and the club is in turmoil after manager Tony Pulis quit 2 days before the opening game.
The scandal has since cost Moody his job at Crystal Palace’s sporting director.
As chaos surrounded the club’s management, the team’s performance on the pitch was also disrupted. The season began with a 2 – 1 defeat by Arsenal and last weekend’s performance, which resulted in a 3 – 1 loss to West Ham, was disastrous.
The team’s chairman Steve Parish must now work extremely quickly to find a new manager before thing disintegrate any further. After the team’s excellent finish to the last season there was an air of optimism at the club, this has now been replaced by an air of instability.
However, it is still early in the season and if Parish can make a good appointment in the next few days then the club’s fortunes could still be turned around.
