Liverpool Ready for Season Without Suarez

Liverpool has begun the new Premier League season without last year’s top scorer Luis Suarez, but regardless of this, striker Daniel Sturridge believes that the team are stronger than ever before.

Despite the loss of star scorer Luis Suarez, Liverpool is looking good and ready to continue without him.
Over the summer Liverpool has signed eight players for a total cost of £101 million.
Three of these new players, Javier Manquillo, Dejan Lovren and Rickie Lambert played in the game against Southampton.
However, manager Brendan Rodgers is still hoping to sign more players before the transfer window closes. He said, “Our ambitions have to be bigger than one player. We’re bigger than any one player; I still think we need a striker so we’ll search through until the end of the window for that.”
Liverpool certainly looked determine in the season opener, Raheem Sterling confidently converted the game’s first real chance and Sturridge scored the winner off of his only real opportunity. Despite losing the League’s top scorer, all the evidence suggests that Liverpool is still very much a force to be reckoned with.
