La Galaxy Vs Manchester United Wednesday, July 23 At Rose Bowl In Pasadena
The Red Devils have announced the addition of Mexican striker Javier Hernandez, nicknamed Chicharito, to the squad’s roster ahead of the Chevrolet Cup against the LA Galaxy Wednesday. In four seasons playing for the team, the 26-year-old striker has amassed a tally of 59 goals.
As part of the team’s US exhibition tour, Manchester United will face off against the Los Angeles Galaxy.
In addition to the Chevrolet Cup match, Man U will go on to play Champions League matches against AS Roma in Denver on the 26th of July and Inter Milan in Washington D.C. on the 29th, with a final US match against Real Madrid on Saturday August 2nd in Michigan.
Should Manchester make it to the final in the competition, this pre-season tour with finish up with a final match taking place in Miami on Monday August 4th.
As far as the Galaxy meeting is concerned, Manchester United will hold an additional open training session on Tuesday July 22nd at the Rose Bowl stadium ahead of the match scheduled for Wednesday. Standard and VIP tickets to the session are made available with purchase prices ranging from $20 – $300. 100% of the proceeds will go to the LA Galaxy Foundation, a non-profit organization erected to help children through educational, health, and soccer based initiatives and programs.
