BJ Penn vs Frankie Edgar

BJ Penn and Frankie Edgar have had an ongoing rivalry.
Penn will meet Edgar for the third time on the 6th of July at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
Edgar is the favorite at (-750) over Penn, with Penn coming back at (+450).
The first two contests against these two saw Edgar coming out tops via a unanimous decision. This ensured that Edgar maintained the Lightweight title which used to be Penn’s last title reign.
Penn and Edgar know each other well and their previous contests were five rounds each. These fighters have, however, taken very different paths.
Edgar went 1-2-1 in Lightweight title bouts and after leaving the Lightweight division behind him, he went on to Featherweight. As a Featherweight, Edgar is 1-1.
After returning to the welterweight division, Penn, who is well-known as the ‘Prodigy’, defeated Matt Hughes, and drew a hard fight against Jon Fitch. Penn dropped fights to Rory MacDonald and to Nick Diaz. After going 1-2-1, he retired and then at the end of 2013, he signed on as a coach for TUF.
The question on everyone’s minds is will Penn, who is 35 years old, be able to perform at only 145 lbs after dropping from 170 lbs?
All will be revealed on July 6. Bookies are offering 7/2 for a Penn win and 1/5 for an Edgar win.
