Ronda Rousey Takes On Alexis Davis at UFC 175

It seems that Ronda Rousey has something to prove.

The current UFC Bantamweight champion will take on Alexis Davis, the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu expert, at the UFC 175 which takes place on the 5th of July at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

While this fight hasn’t created much hype, Rousey has made it clear that emotions have no place in a fight.

In her last five fights, Rousey (9-0) has come out undefeated and to date, she has eight submissions and one knockout under her belt.

Davis’s experience in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jui Jitsu could be a new challenge for the champion.

Despite this, Rousey is confident that her base discipline of Judo can stand up against Davis’s superior submission techniques and that she is more than capable of dominating on the ground.

Meanwhile, Davis, 29, has gone the distance in three of her UFC bouts. In fact the UFC 170 ended with a split-decision win over Jessica Eye.

Bookies are offering 1/9 for a Rhonda Rousey win and 11/2 if Alexis Davis wins. Odds for over 2.5 total rounds is 15/8 and 4/11 for under 2.5 total rounds.
