Martin Murray vs. Max Bursak

This Saturday, Monaco will come alive when Martin Murray faces up against Max Bursak for the WBC silver middleweight title.
Murray (27-1-1, 12KO’s) from Britain is considered one of the best 160 pound fighters around.
Last year, in a fight against Sergio Martinez in Buenos Aires, he took a controversial loss even after he took Martinez down twice but only one was officially ruled a knockdown and eventually, he lost on the scorecards.
Murray subsequently bounced back by beating Sergey Khomitsky and Ishmael Tetteh this year.
Murray commented in an interview that his training was going brilliantly and he is feeling well, focused and up for the fight. He added that he can’t wait to get in the ring and put on a great performance.
Bursak (29-2-1, 12KO’s) of Ukraine is determined to make his comeback after a defeat to Jarrod Fletcher in February. Bursak said this is his opportunity to set things straight in his career.
Murray’s promoter, Rodney Berman of Golden Gloves from South Africa, said this is a giant step towards securing Murray a crack at the world title. He went on to add that Murray has been more than patient and is one of the few fighters with a chance of toppling any of the champions.
The Bookies are calling this one Murray 1/5, Bursak 10/3 and 22/1 for a draw.
