Rangers forge ahead with sponsorship from online casino 32Red

32 Red, the online casino company which previously supported teams such as Aston Villa and Swansea City struck a deal with the Rangers Football Club in a shirt sponsorship arrangement to span three years.

Rangers CEO Graham Wallace believes this deal to be a ground-breaking first step in the long term rejuvenation of the club: “We are in the process of rebuilding Rangers Football Club and alliances with blue chip companies such as 32Red will assist us on our journey back to the top of Scottish football.”

Wallace also revealed that the 32Red sponsorship deal is only one of a number of innovative ways in which they plan to restructure the way the club spends and earns money.

The Rangers-32Red collaboration announcement is welcome news following the controversy surrounding ex-director Dave King’s call to fans to stop purchasing season tickets until the club’s board reveals all details of the business operation.

Wallace stressed that the shady days of Rangers are truly over and they are looking firmly to the future. “We’re looking at the launch of the Rangers membership scheme over the summer and we have three years to develop some exciting ideas to the benefit of the fans and the customer base of 32 Red. It is the first, tangible step in our new commercial strategy.”
