West Ham vs Liverpool – Betting Preview

Sunday April 6th will see Liverpool travel to West Ham to continue their campaign to win the title. Liverpool is currently top of the Premier League having defeated Tottenham Hotspurs last weekend and if the team wins its remaining six games then the title could be theirs.

The good news for Liverpool fans is that the team is the bookies’ favorite to win with odds of 2/5, West Ham is far behind at 15/2 while a draw has been placed at 7/2.

This is hardly surprising considering that Liverpool is undefeated in its last 13 league games with 11 wins and 2 draws. The team has won its last 8 games which includes 3 clean sheets and wins over leading teams such as Arsenal and Manchester United.

West Ham on the other hand is 11th in the table. The team just ended a three game losing streak with victories over Hull City and Sunderland. However, the team is yet to demonstrate the kind of form needed to overcome Liverpool’s current form.

It seems that West Ham’s only hope is for Liverpool to buckle under pressure; however, this seems extremely unlikely considering the team’s record.
