Transfer Rumours as NBA Trade Deadline Approaches

The NBA Trade Deadline is just a few days away and of course rumors are everywhere. A huge number of these rumors seem to involve the Charlotte Bobcats, New York Knicks and Sacramento Kings.

The Bobcats are said to be interested in Philadelphia 76ers’ wing Evan Turner and the Boston Celtics’ power forward Brandon Bass. There are also rumors that the Bobcats were in talks with the Milwaukee Bucks regarding Caron Butler and Gary Neal, however, it is now thought that these talks fell apart.

The Sacramento Kings are reportedly interested in the Boston Celtics’ guard Rajon Rondo. One source is claiming that the Kings and Celtics were discussing a deal involving Isaiah Thomas, Ben McLemore and a pick for Rajon Rondo. However, with Rondo set to hit free agency in 2015 it is thought that he is very unlikely to go anywhere.

The internet is buzzing with rumors about the New York Knicks. It is thought that the team is interested in Atlanta’s Jeff Teague. It was also suggested that the team is interested in Kyle Lowry of the Toronto Raptors; however, ESPN’s Marc Stein believes that there is no chance of securing Lowry by the deadline.
