Arsenal Ladies to Remain Professional in Champions League Clash

Despite having a 7 – 1 advantage, Arsenal Ladies manager Shelley Kerr has said the team will remain professional in the second part of the match.

The match is basically over since Arsenal’s 7 – 1 win in Kazakhstan last week, however, Kerr says that it is important that the team remain professional in this Thursday’s game at Meadow Park.

Kerr said that the team will have “a professional approach to the game and try and put on a spectacle, an attractive game plan for our spectators because that’s important for us.
They’re a big part of the club and our supporters are fantastic so we want to try and play attractive football.”

The team had three points deducted in the Women’s Super League for fielding an ineligible player, as a result they finished 3rd and have missed out on a qualification for next season’s Champions League. This means that they must win this season’s competition in order to qualify in 2014.
