Wimbledon Final – Betting Roundup

Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic will face each other in the Wimbledon final this Sunday. Murray is hoping to become the first British man to win the men’s singles since Fred Perry in 1936, however, he is in for a tough match.

Will Andy Murray become the first Brit to win Wimbledon since 1936 or will Djokovic deny him the chance?
Murray just missed out last year, he lost a four set final to seven time champion Roger Federer.
However, since then he has won against Djokovic twice, once on grass in the semi-final at the Olympics and in the final of the US Open.
However, the bookies are favouring Djokovic for the title, there are odds of 8/13 available on Djokovic while the best on Murray are 6/4.
While on paper Djokovic is the favourite, Murray will have the home advantage and the full backing of the crowd.
He has had a great year since last Wimbledon, having won Olympic gold, the US Open and has risen to number two in the world rankings. Furthermore, Djokovic had a physically gruelling semi-final and he is likely to still be feeling the effects of it.
One thing is for sure, it is going to be a fantastic match with some great tennis on display.
