NBA Finals Preview – San Antonio Spurs vs Miami Heat

The NBA Finals stage will be taking place this week between the San Antonio Spurs and the Miami Heat.
The Miami Heat won 66 games in the regular season and have the home-court advantage. The San Antonio Spurs had an excellent season and did extremely well in the playoffs and suffered just two losses in 14 games, both to the Golden State Warriors.
Unsurprisingly Miami Heat are the favourites to win with odds of 5/12, the best odds available on San Antonio Spurs are 11/5. Miami has LeBron James on team, he is widely considered the best player in the world and he will take home his second straight finals MVP having already secured his fourth regular-season MVP award in the last five years.
However, if the Spurs can keep the ball moving on offense and anticipate Miami’s movement on defence then they have a chance. Tony Parker is an excellent player as is Manu Ginobili. Overall they are an excellent team and we can expect a strong performance.
However, at the end of the day Miami definitely has the advantage. After a fantastic 27-game winning streak and they are performing excellently as a team.
