Knicks Secure 12th Win in a Row
The New York Knicks bagged their 12th win in a row by beating Oklahoma City Thunder 125-120 with J.R. Smith closing the deal with a three pointer making it the third longest winning streak in Knicks history.
The other two times the Knicks managed a longer row of wins landed them at the NBA final so they are hopeful this year will repeat history.
Knicks players were delighted with the results of the game. One of the team’s hot shots, Cameo Anthony, whose scoring average has improved to reach 28.44 said, “We knew they were going to make runs, they’ve got their crowd behind them, but we kept our composure. It was a great team win for us… We’ve been playing well.
For us to come out here and keep our composure and win on the road and win here — this is a tough place to win.”
Currently the Knicks are second behind Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference. The Knicks’ next game is going to be against the Washington Wizards followed by games against teams such as the Indiana Pacers, Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers.
