Destiny’s Child to Reunite at Super Bowl Half Time Show

The Super Bowl half time show is always enjoyed by millions and this year Beyoncé will be performing live at the Mercedes-Benz Superdrome in New Orleans.
Furthermore, there have been reports that the singer will be reunited with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, her co-stars in the successful band Destiny’s Child. Beyoncé enjoyed numerous number one hits with the band before she launched her equally successful solo career.
A source close to the singer said that “the Super Bowl is meant to be a reflection of your entire career, where you came from and where you are going.”
As such, according to the source, Beyoncé “wants to show the best in herself and what she still has to offer with the element of the past leading to the future.”
The source went onto say that Beyoncé didn’t feel it was right to occupy one of the world’s largest stages without the presence of her former band with whom she grew “with both professionally in the group and as friends. She would have it no other way and is super excited over the reunion”.
