Green Bay Packers vs San Francisco 49ers Preview
On Saturday afternoon the Green Bay Packers and the San Francisco 49ers play each other and the 49ers are widely tipped to win.
It will be close but the expectation is that the 49ers will score a narrow victory against the Packers.
Bookies odds on the 49ers are 9/13 while the best available on the Packers are 13/10.
The two teams’ offenses have drastically changed since Week 1 of the season. The 49ers have had problems with Alex Smith, Cedric Benson, Greg Jennings, Vernon Davis and Randall Cobb, just to name a few.
The Packers also suffered a number of injuries over the course of the season, however, the team seems to be back to full health now.
The 49ers have one of the best defences in the league, the Packers’ new first-string running back, DuJuan Harris, will face a rush defence which finished fourth in yards allowed and surrendered just seven rushing touchdowns in the regular season.
While it looks as though it’ll be a close match, it is this defence which is ultimately likely to give the 49ers the edge and see them through to a narrow victory.
