Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers Betting Preview

Tonight the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers play each other for the first time since the playoff series last season and it’s expected to be a very close match.
Bookies are just favouring the Heat to win with odds of 10/21; however, the Pacers are not far behind with odds of 3/4.
In last season’s playoff series the Heat came from 2 – 1 behind to beat the Pacers in six games. Both teams seem to have gotten over some early season problems and are playing extremely well.
At the moment Miami is doing well in the Eastern Conference standings at 4th place in points scored and getting another MVP-type season from Lebron James.
Indiana on the other hand is top of the Central Division ranking 1st in Defensive Rating and let by Defensive Player of the Year candidate, Roy Hibbert.
The Pacers need to make sure that Miami doesn’t score more than 100 points; Indiana is second in the league in points allowed (92.3) and have a 1-4 record when more than 100 points are scored against them.
As for Miami, they need to make sure that James can get past Paul George and put in a really solid performance.
