Manchester City vs Reading Betting Preview

On Saturday afternoon Manchester City and Reading meet at the Etihad stadium.

City will definitely be the more confident of the two teams, they won 3-1 against Newcastle last weekend while Reading has lost its last six games in a row and failed to score in four of them.

At present Reading is bottom of the league having won just 1 game of 17, during the 17 games they have conceded 36 goals whereas City is the second highest scoring team in the league.

As a result it is no surprise to see odds of 1/7 on a City victory and massive odds of 18/1 on Reading; a draw has odds of 7/1.

Should City win then the gap at the top of the league will be reduced to just three points. If Reading win then they would be placed 3 points above the relegation zone, however, three points seems very unlikely, one point for Reading would be a huge achievement.

Both teams are suffering from injuries. City could be without Captain Vincent Kompany who is struggling with a groin injury.

James Milner may also be absent due to a hamstring injury. Reading might be without striker Jason Roberts while Sean Morrison may return to the squad.
