Tottenham Hot Spurs vs Swansea Betting Preview
This afternoon Swansea will travel to White Hart Lane to try and beat Tottenham for the first time ever.
The teams have met 12 times before, 10 of which Tottenham has won, 2 of which were draws.
According to the odds Tottenham are going to enjoy an eleventh victory. The best odds available on Swansea are 24/5 while Tottenham are firm favourites with odds of 7/10.
However, Tottenham are missing a number of players due to injuries. Gareth Bale is still suffering from hamstring problems so Clint Dempsey is expected to take his place.
While Scott Parker, who has been suffering from an Achilles heel, is likely to be on the bench having recently returned to full training.
Swansea boss Michael Laudrup has said that at the moment Spurs “are my favourites for the fourth position… They have a very good squad, a real good team.”
However, he is hoping that after a heavy week for Swansea, tiredness won’t be an issue and “the players can give another good away performance.” He says that the team has to be “100% focused the whole time, otherwise we will struggle. The team will be focused, and I am confident we will have another good performance.”
