Betting Markets Prepare for the Super Bowl

The Super Bowl is fast approaching and of course online betting markets are opening up at an incredibly rate.

At present the New England Patriots are favourites to win with odds of 7/2 available, they are followed by the San Francisco 49ers at 36/5 and Houson Texans at 7/1.

There is also a lot of talk about the commercials that will be shown during the game. It is already known that Mercedes-Benz will be showing an advert for a car they are hoping will bring them new, younger customers.

The advert will unveil the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA, a sports compact sedan which will be on sale for around $30,000 next autumn. Ford will also be showing an advert showing off the new MKZ seda.

Perhaps more unusual is the Israeli maker of home soda machines launching an advertising campaign during the Super Bowl. SodaStream is the world’s biggest manufacturer of home beverage carbonation systems.

They are advertising themselves as a green-friendly alternative to bottled drinks. The machines are meant to offer a simple do-it-yourself solution for those who want fizzy drinks.

More betting markets are sure to open up over the coming weeks, particularly as details of the half-time show are revealed.
